Today, Overland Printing is Phoenix’s document scanning and print services partner — serving law firms, medical practices, HOAs, CPAs, construction professionals, and businesses across Arizona from our 24th Street location. How we got here. Established in 1987 by Jean and Charlie, the business started as Arizona Overland Express — a delivery and messenger service for architects, engineers, and contractors. From the beginning, our clientele asked us to handle their blueprinting too, so Arizona Overland Blueprint was launched alongside the courier work. In 1998 the business changed hands and remains family-owned and operated today.
As the work evolved, so did we. In 2003 we became an authorized dealer for the largest manufacturer of wide-format scanners, which led to dealerships across multiple plotter manufacturers and complementary digitizing equipment and software. Quietly, the business became a successful wide-format document scanning service bureau alongside the full-service blueprint, copy, plot, and print shop — and it’s that scanning practice that drives the business today.
What we do now. Document scanning is our primary service: HIPAA-compliant medical records, litigation discovery for law firms, HOA archives, and bulk business scanning of every size. We’re still one of the few shops in Phoenix that can blueprint, plot, copy, and scan old drawings for digital archiving — but the front of the house is scanning, with printing as a strong secondary service. We also offer full specifications book copy and assembly, including laser color copies, covers, and binding.

We continue to support architects, engineers, builders, and contractors with the wide-format expertise that built the business — but our work today touches every Phoenix industry that needs paper turned into digital files or files turned into print.
